Remember a long while back when these were the hype on social media? Yeah – me too. Well I'm just getting around the reviewing them.
After hearing so many good reviews I could not wait to give them a try myself.
You can definitely smell the birthday cake flavor. It is not too overpowering, but it is definitely there.
They taste as good as they smell. Imagine a vanilla cake frosted with vanilla cream and topped with rainbow sprinkles and you couldn't tell the difference. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a little bit, but it's really good.
It is soft and a lot more light and fluffy than I expected. Almost a cross between a protein bar and a marshmallow.
What makes this product special is its appearance. Not only is it not in the typical protein bar form, but it has visible sprinkles on the outside!
Each flavor comes with three small bites. Each one is a tad larger than a dollar coin. If you were to put all three together, you could get a pretty average size protein bar. I like that they come in smaller "bites." It makes it last longer.
Then burying is decent. Each bites comes out to 70 calories or 240 calories for the entire package with the macro breakdown being 7F/25C/20P. Definitely a high protein snack, but it has a decent balance of the other macronutrients as well.
The pricing is pretty average for popular protein snacks. Individual packs are about $2.
