I reviewed the Vanilla Caramel Quest Hero Bar a while back, so now it is time to move on to another flavor. This post is dedicated to the blueberry cobbler hero bar.
I have to admit that I have never actually had blueberry cobbler so I could not give you an honest comparison. It does faintly ressemble what I imagine a blueberry cobbler would taste like though.
The blueberry filling tasted a bit artificial to me but not too bad. It is pretty hard to avoid the artificial after taste in a processed fruit flavored product made without real fruit.
The bar itself follows the same structure as the other hero bar flavors. The base was a Quest cereal bar, which I am assuming was the waffle flavor. It was tell slathered with a blueberry filling and covered in a white chocolate coating. With all the different flavors and textures, every bite was filled with deliciousness.
From the outside it looks pretty plain. All you can see is the white chocolate coating. However, when you break it in half you get a glimpse of all the different layers.
The macros are similar to the other flavors at 170 calories (7F/30C/17P). It also has a net carb count of 4 grams.
Pricing is not exactly Quest’s strength. These bar are actually MORE expensive that the quest protein bars. Boxes are $24.99 but only come with 10 bars instead of the typical 12.
