And to finish off the Quest hero bar reviews, here are my thoughts on the chocolate caramel pecan flavor.
Beauty is on the inside, right? Same goes for these bars. From the outside they don’t look like anything special, but the inside shot is what draws everyone’s attention.
The best way to describe this bar is a Quest cereal bar topped with a layer of caramel and covered in chocolate. Plus, there are some small pecan chunks built into the cereal portion of the bar.
It doesn’t have too strong of a smell. I wasn’t hit with anything right off the bat, but if you are looking for it, you can smell the caramel and a hint of chocolate.
With a cereal core, caramel, and chocolate, this bar has the perfect texture. It’s chewy, but soft and melts in your mouth.
The core of the bar reminded me of the cookies and cream cereal bar. I could definitely taste the caramel. It added to the sticky (but good) texture. The chocolate was an added bonus too. To me, it tasted like milk chocolate with a hint of dark chocolate. I was a little disappointed with the lack of pecan flavor though. I honestly couldn’t taste it through the chocolate and caramel.
The macros are pretty similar to the other Quest Hero bars. This flavor is a bit higher in calories at 200. The macro nutrient breakdown is 11F/27C/15P. Alternatively, 27 grams total carbohydrates – 11 grams fiber – 11 grams allulose – 1 gram erythriol for a total of 4 net carbs.
