In continuation of my Farm & Oven post series – today I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the zucchini lemon poppyseed bakery bites.
And just in case you missed my earlier review, be sure to check out my thoughts on the carrot cinnamon bakery bites.
So back to the flavor of the day – zucchini lemon poppyseed.
If the smell doesn’t get you, I don’t know what will. As soon as you open up the package, you can smell the lemon. It reminded me of the iced pound lemon cake from Starbucks.
At this point in my life, I am basically immune to the zucchini flavor. Does zucchini even have a flavor? Either way, you can taste the lemon but the zucchini is pretty much masked by the lemon.
The texture is similar to mini muffins. They are dense but fluffy and full of flavor. The poppyseeds add to the aesthetic but don’t leave the gritty/seedy texture.
Each bite is a little larger than a silver dollar coin – aka they are pretty tiny. However, each pack comes with three bites which adds up to make the perfect snack.
