Farm & Oven Pumpkin Maple Pecan Bites

Farm & Oven review series part three! Today’s flavor – pumpkin maple pecan!

We may be a few months off from pumpkin spice season, but that is no reason to turn these goodies down.

I absolutely LOVE pumpkin. In the fall, I stock up on my pumpkin spice Clif bars and Halo Top to last me through the year until they are in season again. Needless to say, I had high expectations for these bakery bites.

The pumpkin smell is anything but subtle. It is hard to tell if I opened up a package of bakery bites or just pulled a pumpkin pie out of the oven.

The pumpkin flavor is a little more subtle. It is present but not overwhleming. The maple flavor is also subtle but has that REAL maple taste to it and not that artificial taste – probably because its made with Vermont maple syrup and all REAL ingredients.

The texture is similar to the other bakery bites – airy but dense all at once. Compared to the other bakery bites flavors, this one is the most moist. This flavor also has a little something extra – pecans! – which really compliment the fall flavors and adds a nice crunch.
