Tahini Brownie Bites

If you have not caught on already, energy balls are my new favorite thing to make.


I love experimenting with new recipes and adapting them to fit my tastes and needs. So on the blog today is a recipe for tahini brownie bites.

Here is what you will need:
-1 cup (125 grams) almonds
-2 teaspoons (10 grams) unsweetened cocoa powder
-1/4 cup (55 grams) tahini
-3-4 (60 grams) pitted dates
-1 teaspoon vanilla
-2 tablespoons maple syrup


1. In a food processor, blend almonds into a fine powder

2. Mix in cocoa powder

3. Add tahini and blend until evenly distributed

4. Add dates and vanilla. Plus until batter begins to thicken and clump

5. Add syrup and continue to pulse until dough forms

6. Divide and roll dough into tablespoon-size balls

7. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes

Recipe makes about 18 bites

*Store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks
